Descriptive text about the affiliate institution can state that it is a “teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School” or “an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.” No other phrasing, adjectives, or superlatives (e.g., “primary,” “oldest,” “largest,” “pediatric”) may be included in descriptions that include the HMS or Harvard name.
